Woke up a bit early with a feeling that the skin under my eyes was crusty and tight. My skin in the area below by eyes looks like it has been weeping and this has dried over to feel a little bit rough. It's quite sore to touch. The skin on my cheeks is dry and tight looking and when I press it, it ripples up and still looks like skin that want's to peel. My nose feels tight and the original sore has a slight scabbing over. No worries at the moment about continuing with the treatment -8 days left including today.
Showering was quite painful, with little pangs of pain across my cheeks. After patting my skin dry very gently, I applied a good coverage of cream across my face and this was a little painful too. Some people describe the feeling as rubbing shards of glass into your face, but for me it's not that painful (luckiliy). I put extra cream on the original sore and that area is particularly itchy today.
