The skin is now swollen under my eyes and again the area feels very tight and sore. There has been some weeping, but the pain isn't too bad. Perhaps today will be much like yesterday as the skin looks much the same. After showering I notice that the edge of my nose on both sides is covered with a whitish creamy deposit, which is not possible to remove with water and gentle rubbing and I'm reluctant to use a flannel or cloth. I applied the cream as normal across the whole area.
Today has been a busy day, investigating a school place for my daughter to study her 'A' levels, work, visiting my mum (who has Alzheimers) and trying to get some work done. I managed a few hours work, but it's hard to concentrate and stay motivated. This afternoon and evening have been the worst part of the treatment. The pain is only just bearable and the tightness of my skin is not helping. I have decided to use some E45 moisturiser on my cheeks and under my eyes to see if helps. It stings quite a bit but seems to be giving some relief.
The relief was short-lived. I won't be using E45 again. I don't know what to do to ease the pain, so I'm off out for a drive with the window down to get some cool air onto my face. It'll be a distraction if nothing else. My cheeks, under my eyes and area to the edge of my eyes are all burning. I don't know what I'm going to do about tonight's application of cream and 6 days (12 applications more) seems like a long time.
Okay I've just applied the cream to my nose and the original sore. The sore always get's a nice plastering of cream. The area under my eyes looks like a mountain range of tiny brown peaks and white cracks. There are spots of blood and this area is quite swollen. I'm wimping out of applying cream on my cheeks, including this very sore area. I'll make up for it tomorrow - maybe. No, I will.
